Skip Permits

If you place a skip on any public road or pavement you will need a skip permit. Skip permits are required by law. If you don’t get a skip permit where required then your skip may be removed and you could have to pay a fine. However, there is no requirement for a skip permit if you put the skip on private land like your driveway for example.
